Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (m/w/d)
Your responsibilities:
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for mechanical development within a project, from conceptual design to series production support. Continuous optimization in terms of product quality and price is also part of your job.- Optimization of existing products in terms of quality and COGS
- Developing innovative mechanical components and systems from the idea to series production
- Creating production documents and product documentation
- Carrying out technical calculations and FE analyses
- Technical clarifications with other departments and suppliers
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed an education in mechanical engineering (HTL, FH, TU)
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of mechanical design, preferably for the production of small series
- Experience in optimizing quality and product costs is an advantage
- You must be proficient in the use of common 3D CAD programs (preferably SOLIDWORKS).
- Your structured, independent way of working as well as problem-solving skills, creativity and ability to work in a team characterize you
- You have a quick grasp and a strong commitment to quality
